Full time Trailer Builder/Fitters

We are looking for Full time Trailer Builder/Fitters.  Based in Luton, you will be working as part of a well-established and successful team, either building trailers to a high specification or fitting out catering trailers with worktops and specified catering Equipment.

You will be expected to work a 40-hour week Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm with a half-hour for lunch, demonstrate commitment, good time keeping and attendance levels, have had extensive Kitchen fitting and/or stainless steel fabrication experience. Experience with electrics/gas would be an advantage. A mature outlook, team working and attention to detail are essential.

In December, AJC launched a new range of ‘concept kiosks’ designed for those caterers who have a more permanent location in mind. This is a 14ft kiosk on a hydraulic lowering axle, specified to a very high standard with a host of innovative features:

A Bespoke designed and sprayed top board with matching retractable canopy, high gloss colour, BCP panelled interior and Feature hardwood front.

The interior specification includes a Lincat Heated display, Rancilio coffee machine, Ceado grinder, Lec display fridge/freezer and double sinks. Different specifications are available on request. The new ‘Curve pack’ options start at £20,835 with the 10 ft Trademaster.

JIffy Trucks and AJC Trailers presented a united front at the recent open day at the Jiffy Facilities in Shipley.  A large indoor showroom showing an impressive line up of Catering Trailers from the Regis and Trademaster range, Catering equipment, the Jiffy Panino and Bocado, was filled with visitors throughout the day.  Jiffy have a number of stock trailers ready to go and local fayre was served from the Jiffy Bocado to those who wanted refreshment.

The Jiffy Trucks Open Day held at AJC Trailers on Sunday was a huge success.  With new and existing Jiffy customers reporting that viewing Jiffy models in Luton was clearly an advantage if they were based in South of the UK. The new Panino is built on the all new Citroen Berlingo, this is head and shoulders above its predecessor, more powerful, more carrying capacity and more economical.

Jiffy have included all the technology from their larger vehicles including the new double glazed systems, built in safe and bag holder etc. They have also gone back to the popular vertical central ambient section. The new model is the perfect height for working with, nice low counters, and easy to reach top shelves. One of Jiffy's long standing customers who had a sneak preview the other day said it was “Fantastic” we hope you all agree.
